OLAV & Co., Inc. was first established in 1990. The Founder chose the name Olav after King Olav V of Norway, renowned for the great deal of time he spent getting to know his people and meeting their needs. Because of these actions, Olav V was known as the “People’s King.” Just as King Olav V believed in the importance of interacting with his people, OLAV & Co., Inc. firmly believes in establishing strong, personalized relationships with all of its clients. In addition to representing OLAV & Co., Inc.’s philosophy on client/company relations, the name holds personal ties to the Founder. The Founder is proud of his Norwegian heritage and carries that pride forward into any work completed through OLAV & Co., Inc.
